FORT MADISON - The Bloodhound trapshooting team competed this weekend at the Danville High School/SCC Scholarship Shoot at the Aim High Shooting Co in Salem, IA. The Varsity Men's Squad crushed it with a score of 245/250.
Trey Edwards was the Varsity Men Individual 1st place winner with a perfect score of 50/50, Edward Schroeder took 2nd with a score of 49, Landon Leenerts was 3rd with 49 and Brett Azinger was 4th with a 49. We placed 7 individuals in the Top 10 for Varsity Men as Byron DiPrima had a 49, Trevor Edwards with a 48 and Drew Dravis with a 48.
Nathan Cottrell took 1st place in the Intermediate Advanced with a score of 49/50 and Kenny McFadden was 4th with a 46.
Emma Wagner. was 2nd place in the Ladies Intermediate Entry level with a score of 35/50.
Brett Azinger won a $500 scholarship to attend SCC and will shoot for them next year. This is the 3rd year in a row that one of our kids has won the scholarship. Abram Lorence won it last year and Anna Schroeder the previous year.
