Crank named all-SEISC in post-season soccer honors

Hawks land six on all-conference list

LEE COUNTY – Central Lee’s Landon Crank was named Southeast Iowa Superconference 1st team all-conference in the conference’s post-season announcement last week.
Crank led the Hawks in shots on goal (39) and total shots (68) en route to a 5-6 season that ended with a regional semifinal loss to West Branch 7-1 back on May 20. Crank also had eight goals and 19 points on the season also team highs.
Senior Dante Merschman and sophomore Colton Taft were named second team all-SEISC. Merschman had 13 shots and 11 on goal in an injury-shortened final season. Taft was a defensive specialist for the Hawks in the back field.
Junior Drake Weber, senior keeper Hunter Gregory and senior Landan Lowenberg all received honorable mention recognition.
