Ulik 12th in SEC standings

Mueller shoots 53, Denning shoots 54 for Crusaders

WASHINGTON – Fort Madison’s top four boys golfers all shot a 47 at the Washington leg of the Southeast Conference schedule Monday night.

Brennan Ulik, Brady Wade, Kane Williams, and Aidan Pennock all shot 47s on the par 35 course.

Emmett Kruse shot a 50 and Jordan Simpson carded a 64 as the Hounds rolled to a team score of 188, good enough for a 5th-place finish.

Washington won the event with a 154 with Rajan and Roman Roth shooting under par at 33 and 34, respectively.

The Roths are tied in the Southeast Conference meets with a total of 142 over five meets.

Fort Madison’s Ulik is 12th overall in the standings with a 176.

Crusaders Fall
Jameson Denning shot a 54 to lead Holy Trinity in a dual meet with Mediapolis.

Andy Mehmert shot a 56 for the Crusaders who fell to the Bulldogs 243-178.

Brock Scheetz shot 65, Nathan Box a 68, and Luke Hellige a 70 for Fort Madison. Ben Wolter was a medalist with a 43 for Mepo.

Brooke Mueller shot a 53 and Emma Mohrfeld carded a 54 for the girls. Mueller and Mohrfeld were the only players on the girls' squad so a team score wasn’t applicable.
