Task force arrests Keokuk man

MONTROSE - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Keokuk man on Felony drug charges.

Kolby Jay Spring age 19, is charged with: 2 counts of Delivery of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, both are class B Felonies, and Drug tax stamp violation, a class D Felony.

The arrest was the result of an investigation in where the defendant, Kolby Jay Spring, was trafficking methamphetamine in the Keokuk area.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force was assisted by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Lee County Attorney’s Office.

The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.  The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
