Old Settlers' moves show to church

FORT MADISON - The Old Settler's Association announced Monday that the first summer Music in the Park event will be moved to Fort Madison United Methodist Church due to excessive heat being projected for the area on Friday.
Food will begin at 4:30 p.m. with music starting at 5 p.m. No food will be allowed in the sanctuary where the concert will be held. A limited menu of chips, home baked desserts, pop, and water will be available.
LMNOP will be playing on Friday at the church.
Restrooms are available on both floors of the  church.
The event remains a free event, but donations are welcome to offset some of the  costs of the summer music in Old Settlers' Park in Fort Madison. The Old Settlers' Association puts on three shows, one each month of the summer in June, July, and August.
