Keokuk man wins $30K lottery prize

CLIVE — A Keokuk man has won a $30,000 lottery prize.
John Carman won the 23rd top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “$30,000 Crossword” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Site Food Mart, 1301 Main St. in Keokuk, and claimed his prize Monday at the lottery’s Cedar Rapids regional office.
