Fort Madison Police Report
10/30/23 – 12:40 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
10/31/23 – 8:27 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
10/31/23 – 8:39 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Brian James Abel, 38, of Fort Madison at the police station on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, 3rd-degree theft, and possession of controlled substance. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.
10/31/23 – 8:51 a.m – Fort Madison Police arrested Colton James Blint, 19, of Fort Madison at the police station on active warrants for drug paraphernalia and controlled substance violations. He was taken to the Lee County Jail.
10/31/23 – 9:24 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Michael Dean Hagmeier II, of Fort Madison, at the police station on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.
10/31/23 – 10:30 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
10/31/23 – 1:51 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Jennifer Elizabeth Hershberger, 36, of Fort Madison in the 500 block of Avenue D, on active warrants for probation violation and voluntary absence from custody.
Keokuk Police Report
10/30/23 – 9:24 p.m. – Keokuk Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on the Keokuk/Hamilton Bridge. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Gage Russell Flatten, 32, of Keokuk was being pursued by a Hancock County deputy westbound on the bridge. Another vehicle driven by Dallas D. Horton, 43, of Hamilton, experienced vehicle trouble and signaled intent to pull to the side when he was struck by Flatten’s vehicle. Flatten was cited for operating a non-registered vehicle and failure to provide insurance. Flatten was also transported by Lee County EMS for suspected minor injuries. Both vehicle were towed.
10/31/23 – 11:59 p.m. – Keokuk Police arrested a 14-year-old female juvenile in the 800 block of Palean Street on a charge of providing a false identification to a police officer.
