05/23/24 – 10:50 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Carroll Vernon Brewer, 49, of Fort Madison in the 321 3rd Street on a three active warrants. He was taken to the Lee County Jail.
05/23/24 – 12:15 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Amy Kaylene Yarrington, 46, of Fort Madison, at the police station on a charge of disorderly conduct and interference with official acts. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

05/25/24 – no time listed – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dereck Franklin Kent Harwood, 42, of Keokuk, in the 600 block of N. 12th Street in Keokuk, on warrants for failure to maintain control, failure to appear, and a judgment hold. He was taken to lee County Jail and held.
05/25/24 – 1:42 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jesse Virgil Johnson Booth, 32, of Keokuk at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a judgment hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released for time served.

05/26/24 – 12:35 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Matthew Jay Wells, 23, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.
05/26/24 – 5:01 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kelsey Jean Haines, 31, of Burlington, at the sheriff’s office on a charge assault with injury to a law enforcement officer. She was held at the Lee County Jail.
05/27/24 – 12:24 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cory Marvin Ransdell, 55, of West Point, on charges of OWI, failure to maintain registration, driving under suspension and carrying a weapon while intoxicated. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.
05/27/24 – 12:27 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 218 southbound near Hwy. 16. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Stewart Todd Overhulser, 49, of Keokuk, suffered a blown tire on his motorcycle causing him to lay the vehicle down. Overhulser was transported to Henry County Health Center for suspected minor injuries.
