04/30/24 – 9:15 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Avenue E.

Keokuk Police Report
04/30/24 – 1:58 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 3300 block of Middle Road.
04/30/24 – 3:43 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Candace Yvonne Weddle, 30, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of Main Street, on a charge of 1st offense trespassing. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/30/24 – 4:11 p.m. – Keokuk police arrested Thomas Christopher Dodge, 57, of Keokuk, in the 1300 block of Franklin Street, on a charge of simple assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/30/24 – 8:02 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the 700 block of Boulevard Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Toni Jacqueline Sargent, 51, of Keokuk, was backing out of a driveway in the 700 block of Boulevard Road and struck a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported. The parked vehicle sustained moderate damages, but remained parked on scene; Sargent's vehicle sustained minor damages and was driven from the scene. Sargent was cited for unsafe backing.
04/30/24 – 8:02 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 700 block of Boulevard Road.
04/30/24 – 8:04 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of Timea Street.
04/30/24 – 9:02 p.m. – Keokuk police cited and released Sierra Marie Barta, 22, of Keokuk, at Main Street and Royal Road, on a charge of 2nd offense possession of marijuana.

Lee County Sheriff Report
04/30/24 – 9:09 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested a 16-year-old female juvenile, of Keokuk, in the 1900 block of West Point Road, on a charge of 1st offense permit minor use on property. She was referred to juvenile court.
04/30/24 – 9:11 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Johnathanne Taylor Palm, 27, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittimus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
04/30/24 – 2:11 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at 7th Street and Avenue D, West Point. According to the report, a vehicle driven by William Joseph Penisten, 74, of Des Moines, exceeded past the stop sign at 7th Street and Avenue D and struck a vehicle driven by Elaine Grace Printy, 25, of Keokuk. No injuries were reported. Penisten's vehicle sustained very minor damages; Printy's vehicle sustained functional damages; both vehicles were driven from the scene. No citations were reported.
04/30/24 – 4:18 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Christina Sue Ferrell, 40, of Muscatine, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
