07/31/23 – 12:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Kimberly Michelle Brewer, 43, of Fort Madison, in the 2100 block of Avenue O, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/31/23 – 8:39 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2600 block of Avenue J.

08/01/23 – 12:11 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1400 block of Avenue F.
08/01/23 – 1:04 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jessica Rebecca Boe, 32, of Fort Madison, in the 1900 block of Avenue H, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd, and a warrant for failure to appear – charge of compulsory education violation. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 1:57 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a robbery in the 600 block of Avenue E.
08/01/23 – 2:37 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Kyler William Ross, 38, of Wever, in the 800 block of Avenue G, on a warrant for probation violation – theft 3rd. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 4:04 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 5100 block of Avenue O.
08/01/23 – 5:35 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1400 block of Avenue H.

08/01/23 – 10:38 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Theresa Lynn Reiter, 57, of Fort Madison, in the 4800 block of Avenue O, on a charge of driving while barred.

Lee County Sheriff Report
07/28/23 – 10:20 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Amanda Rose Anne Leadingham, 37, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Jail, on a warrant for 3rd degree theft $750-$1500. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
07/28/23 – 2:01 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Cheyenne Nicole Smith, 27, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
07/28/23 – 2:08 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dalton Tanner Vaughan, 22, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Jail, on warrants for voluntary absence from custody and judgment entry/mittimus. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on time served.
07/28/23 – 3:29 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 218 and Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Dakota Ellis Nichols, 27, of Carthage, was stopped behind a vehicle to make a right turn onto Business 61 and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by James Alvie Wilsey, Jr., 55, of Keokuk. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained minor damages and were driven away. Wilsey, Jr. was cited for failure to stop in an assured distance and driving under suspension.
07/28/23 – 9:12 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Connen Craig Hahnbaum, 34, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment entry/mittmus warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/29/23 – 3:20 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Matthew Kristian Smith, 26, of Burlington, in the 100 block of S. Oak Street, Donnellson, on a warrant for contempt – violation of a no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/30/23 – 8:33 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Melanie Rena Davis, 58, of Burlington, was traveling south in the 1700 block of Hwy. 61, when the driver suffered a medical issue and passed out. The vehicle drove into the west ditch, coming to a stop after striking a culvert in the north ditch of 175th Street. No injuries due to the accident were reported at the scene. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene. No citations were reported.
07/30/23 – 3:02 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 61 S. and 355th Street and Argyle Rd. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Candie Beatrice Davis, 53, of Keokuk, failed to yield crossing 4 lanes of travel when going straight and was struck in the passenger side by a vehicle driven by Sarah Nicole Sparrow, 40, of Keokuk.  Davis was transported to the hospital by EMS; Sparrow reported minor injuries. Both vehicle sustained disabling damages and were towed from the scene. Davis was cited for no seat belt and failure to yield to vehicle to the right.
07/31/23 – 11:30 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Kenna Michelle Ames, 27, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/31/23 – 8:23 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jason William Fountain, 33, of Missouri, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
08/01/23 – 12:36 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Austin Dean Schuelka, 34, of Fort Madison, on warrants for domestic assault - impeding air/blood flow and violation of a domestic no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 10:02 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Andrea Faye Freebury, 33, of Donnellson, in the 3500 block of Hwy. 218, Keokuk, on charges of possession of a controlled substance – 1,2,3rd and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 10:43 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Bradford Evan Smith, 53, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 5:06 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Derek Alexander Westwater, 38, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 5:12 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Kenneth Eugene Morrison, 28, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 5:14 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Cellous Dalonden Glover, 24, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/01/23 – 10:35 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Brock Quinton Chestleigh, 33, of Illinois, in the 3500 block of Hwy. 218, Keokuk, on a charge of driving under suspension. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a pre-trial release.
