Fort Madison Police Report
06/03/24 – 12:15 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1500 block of Avenue M.
06/03/24 – 9:10 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 5400 block of Avenue O.
06/03/24 – 10:48 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1500 block of Avenue H.
06/03/24 – 11:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Teresa Oleta Michelle Weldon, 30, of Fort Madison, at the police station on an active warrant. She was released on bond.
06/03/24 – 1:02 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 5200 block of River Valley Road.
06/03/24 – 2:13 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested William Marion Kryzak III, in the 4200 block of Avenue L, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and being ineligible to carry a weapon. He was held at Lee County Jail.
06/03/24 – 5:31 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 5200 block of River Valley Road.
06/03/24 – 6:32 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2000 block of Avenue D.

Keokuk Police Report
06/03/24 – 3:16 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 600 block of Exchange Street.
06/03/24 – 4:03 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1300 block of Main Street.
06/03/24 – 5:22 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the alley of 1500 Johnson Street. According to the report a vehicle driven by Richard Ashley Murphy, 69, of Keokuk struck a vehicle driven by Debra Joyce Foust, 63, of Keokuk. Murphy was backing into his parking space at his residence across the alley and didn’t see Foust heading east bound down the ally. Murphy was cited for unsafe backing. No injuries were reported.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
06/03/24 – 9:03 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Stanley Anderson Barrows, 22, of Wapello, at the South Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for probation violation.
06/03/24 – 2 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Sheri Kaye Sherbondy, 50, of Burlington at the North Lee County Courthouse on a warrant for an assault on an officer. She was held at Lee County Jail.
06/04/24 – 7:40 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joel Robert Wilsey, 44, of Keokuk, at the sheriff’s office on an active warrant. He was held at Lee County Jail.

05/31/24 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to one medica call and one lift assist.
06/01/24 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to one false alarm, two medical calls, one report of gas odor, one and one report of a vehicle fire.
06/02/24 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to seven medical calls.
06/03/24 - Fort Madison Firefighters responded to one odor investigation and four medical calls.
