DONNELLSON - A fire broke out on a farm near Donnellson late last night.

Donnellson Fire and Rescue responded to the call where hay bales in a machine shed just north of Harvestville Farms caught fire. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Julie Hohl, one of the owners of the property, said no one was injured in the fire that occured in a shed on the north side of the family farm. No Harvestville buildings were damaged as a result of the fire.

She said the property belongs to the Hentzel and Hohl Family Farm.

Multiple bales of hay were destroyed and firefighters had to pull other bales apart to make sure all evidence of fire had been extinguished. Substantial damage was done tp the machine shed.
