FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Elks donated one of more than 4,000 grants across the nation during the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program in 2024. Nearly $12.5 million has been granted through the national program.
Lin Cramer, Loyal Knight with the Fort Madison Elks Lodge #374, presents a check in the amount of $2000 to Fort Madison Food Pantry Board Vice President Kathy Nelson while Gary Peitz (Pantry Board member) and Tina Krieger (Pantry volunteer) look on.
The grant, an Elks National Foundation Spotlight Grant, will aide the Food Pantry with purchasing foods to be distributed to those in our community who suffer from food insecurity.
