Conservation to host kids' fishing day

Posted

LEE COUNTY - We have a summer of fishy fun planned for our area youth! Every month starting in May, Lee County Conservation will host a fishing event in one of our parks!

Our first event is a Youth Fishing Clinic at Chatfield Park sponsored by Lake Copper Angler Association on May 6th from 9-11am. Your kiddos will get to learn how to fish from the pros and play fun games! Feel free to bring your own fishing gear and bait, or we will have poles and bait available for you! This event is for youth under 16. Anyone else is welcome to join, but they must have their fishing license!

About Lee County Conservation: Lee County Conservation manages 30 individual parks, wildlife areas, historic sites and water recreation access points - encompassing some 2,796 acres across the county.
