Art in Central Park moved indoors

Due to the predictions of bad weather for Sunday morning during what would have been the move in and set up portion of the day, the FMAAA Art Center made the decision to move the event INDOORS to four locations along Ave G between 8th and 9th Streets. While it may turn out to be a beautiful day in the Park, we wanted to make sure people had access to indoor areas instead of subjecting their booths to high winds and the potential of hail. We hope it is a lovely day and that everyone still turns out!!

 

Please look for artist booths at Kelly's Cakes, the Art Center, and Elliott Test Kitchen all along the northside of Avenue G. The musical entertainment will be at the STEM Lounge. Fat Jimmy's will be parked near the TEST Kitchen / STEM Lounge. And the KidZone will be at the Art Center. 

 

The event will begin at 10 am and will close in a staggered manner, with the STEM Lounge entertainment wrapping after Blame not the Bard. The artists in the Elliott TEST Kitchen wrapping up by 3:30pm (to accomodate ACT Test Prep after), and the artists at the Art Center and Kelly's Cakes concluding by 4pm. 

 

The KidZone will be at the Art Center from 11am until 3pm.
