GREEN BAY LEVEE & DRAINAGE DISTRICT REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

THURSDAY, MAY 30, 2024 – 7:00 P.M.

HEARTLAND CO-OP,

WEVER

The Green Bay Levee & Drainage District met at the regular meeting on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heartland Co-op, Wever. Present were trustees Rick Kuntz, Mike Walker and Brandon Bonar and clerk, Kimberly Spear. Also present were other members of the community.

All votes are unanimous unless otherwise indicated.

Spear read the minutes from the regular meeting held on April 25, 2024. Moved by Walker, seconded by Kuntz, to approve the minutes. Motion carried.

Pat Kaltefleiter gave the Pump Master report. The river stage was 15.90. Moved by Bonar, seconded by Kuntz, to accept the Pump Master Report as presented. Motion carried.

Klinger updated the board regarding the USACE 408 permit and FEMA certification. DNR is requiring IFC to get a letter from the board highlighting where the district is at in the project and where they are going.

Walker led a discussion on IFC requesting the district move from a letter of credit to a bond. Moved by Kuntz, seconded by Bonar to keep a Letter of Credit as currently held with IFC. Motion carried.

Moved by Kuntz, seconded by Bonar to approve the treasurer’s report. Motion carried. Current balances are $280,197.21 in the Operating Fund.

At 8:00 p.m. Kuntz made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Walker. Motion carried.

The next regular meeting of the Drainage District will be Thursday, June 27 at 7 pm.
