FAIRFIELD – Brady Wade led the Hounds to a 4th-place finish at the Southeast Conference meet in Fairfield Friday. Wade shot a 44 and Cole Quittem shot a 49 to lead the Bloodhounds to a 199.
Washington won the event with a 145 led by Teague Mayers' even par 35, including four birdies on the front nine. Rajan Roth and Drew Conrad were right behind with a couple 36s and Luke Beenblossom shot a 38 to help the Demons roll.
The Hounds’ Cade Denning and Colton Bower each shot 53s to round out the scoring for Fort Madison.
Washington leads the round-robin conference format with a 588. The team rankings eliminate each teams’ worst round for the total. Fort Madison is currently in fifth place with a 765.
