Task force nabs three after Keokuk search

Two charged with felony drug possession.

KEOKUK - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of three Keokuk residents on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
Brandon James Adams age 35, of Keokuk is charged with: Possession of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, a class B felony; Maintaining a drug house, an aggravated misdemeanor; and Possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Kenneth Joe Irvin age 55, of Keokuk is charged with: Possession of a controlled substance 3rd offense, a class D felony; Maintaining a drug house, an aggravated misdemeanor; and Possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Tasha Renee Tripp age 40, of Keokuk is charged with: Possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor; Maintaining a drug house, an aggravated misdemeanor; and Possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
The charges came after a search warrant that was executed at a residence in Keokuk where controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were found.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force were assisted by the Keokuk Police Department, the Fort Madison Police Department, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lee County Attorney’s Office.
The defendants in this case are presumed innocent until proven guilty.  The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
